Re-homing
We are NOT a re-homing centre! We CAN NOT accept animals from
members of the public for re-homing, we can only provide a list
of centres that will, from time to time, accept cats and dogs
for re-homing. There is a national problem of unwanted animals -
cats, dogs, rabbits, and small “furries” in general and horses -
all seeking new loving homes and most re-homing centres have
long waiting lists!
If you wish to give an animal a new loving home please contact
the RSPCA Animal Re-homing Centre at Danaher (near to
Wethersfield) on 01371 851201 they have cats and dogs plus a
range of small “furries” all looking for good homes.
From time to time we have a number of cats that have been
brought to us via an Inspector either as “abandoned” or signed
over to us, in both cases after any necessary veterinary
treatment these animals are placed with a fosterer until we can
get them transferred to a re-homing centre. These are generally
mature cats, approximately four to seven years old who
desperately want a new loving home. They DO make excellent
family pets!!
