Welcome to the RSPCA Chelmsford & Mid Essex Branch
Like all the other 170 plus RSPCA branches we are a separate
charity with our own registered charity number.
We are responsible for the management and financial control of
our branch affairs. We work closely with national RSPCA, who
control the Inspector force, and we have their advice and
support when needed.
RSPCA branches can choose how they help the cause of animal
welfare within their branch area. Our Branch chose to open a
Shop to give us the financial capital and the support to set up
and run a Clinic. Location
Our branch area covers the middle region of Essex, roughly a
circle with the county town of Chelmsford just to the right of
its centre. Its boundaries are shown below.
